<<current obsessions / vintage frye boots >>

I have an unhealthy obsession with Frye boots. After purchasing my first pair of engineer boots I literally slept in them. Again, unhealthy. Frye is such a great all-American company that has been around since the 1800s! These boots are made out of gorgeous leather and hand-crafted to last forever. They make some serious ass-kicking boots. The only downside? The price. While they are a true investment piece, brand new Fryes will set you back around three hundred buckaroos (or more! yikes) Not so good on the old wallet.

Luckily, my love for Frye is only slightly overshadowed by my love of thrifting. I've scored some awesome vintage Frye boots at secondhand stores for a fraction of the cost. Recently I just found another source to fuel my Frye addiction: Stellah's Groove on Etsy. After drooling over her shop, I added these rad campus boots from the 1970s to my collection. Check out that stitching, how cool are the steer heads? I was seriously impressed with the quality of these boots as well as the customer service. I would highly recommend checking out her shop if you are in the market for a new (old) pair of kicks.
